The first time I ever saw the Rocky Mountains I was 14 years old, I have been facinated by the lights and the colors of the snow meeting earth ever since then.
The European Alps have a sun kissed glow much like the great American mountains but with a touch of turquoise. I feel like the turquoise mines in North Carolina connect the American's to the unique Austrian teal glacier lights.
The middle mountains in the painting are in New Zealand where the rainforest meets the icy glacier blue.
