Art Shaped By Culture, Craft, And Global Experience

SheOriginals was founded in 2017 as an extension of SHE’s creative journey across cultures, materials, and artistic disciplines. Based in Charlotte, NC, and working between the United States and Bremen, Germany, SHE produces contemporary fine art rooted in texture, intention, and an exploration of human behavior.

After completing an AFA degree in North Carolina, SHE traveled to Europe to study language, culture, and classical fine art. What began as a short-term experience evolved into years of international movement and study. In Germany, SHE apprenticed with Sigfried Hermann, the official Restaurateur of the Bremen Cathedral. This experience introduced European restoration and fresco techniques that continue to influence the physical structure and surface depth of SHE’s work today.

SHE’s artwork reflects extensive independent cultural study across more than ten countries and hundreds of communities. These experiences inform how value, perception, and human behavior are explored through large-scale abstract works and intimate fine art pieces. Since 2017, SHE has completed over 200 large works, many of which have been exhibited in galleries and exclusive art events across Germany and the United States, including notable exhibitions with Pease Gallery and the League for Innovation.

SheOriginals serves collectors, organizations, and creative partners in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Select services are also available nationwide through online collaboration.

Principles That Guide The Work Behind Every Piece

Core Values

Cultural Influence Through Experience

SHE’s work is shaped by lived experience rather than trend-driven production. Years of travel, cultural immersion, and artistic exchange inform how each piece is approached. From studying stone architecture in Europe to working alongside international artists, SHE’s perspective is grounded in observation and participation. This influence shows up in the physical structure of the work, the use of texture, and the way each piece interacts with space and the viewer alike.

The apprenticeship under Sigfried Hermann introduced fresco and restoration techniques rarely seen in contemporary studio practice. These methods pushed the work into a new material direction, allowing surfaces to carry depth, weight, and presence. This approach continues to define SHE’s fine art paintings, acrylic artwork, and large-scale pieces, setting the work apart through process rather than decoration.

Rather than producing at volume, SHE maintains intentional limits across commissioned and original work. This allows focus on structure, material decisions, and execution. Whether creating custom artwork, murals, or studio pieces, each project is approached as a standalone work rather than a repeated format. This principle supports clarity for both the artist and the collector.
